Love won't play in Friday's preseason finale against the Grizzlies for rest purposes, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
Love hasn't suffered any injury, so he should be able to suit up for Miami's regular-season opener against Orlando on Oct. 23. The veteran big man is expected to compete for depth minutes in the Heat's frontcourt rotation.
