Gardner (ankle) won't play in Sunday's California Classic Summer League game against the Lakers, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
Gardner sustained a sprained left ankle in Friday's Summer League win over the Spurs and will be held out of the front end of this back-to-back set. His next chance to play will come against Warriors Gold on Monday.
