James logged 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt), four rebounds and three assists across 21 minutes during Monday's 124-91 loss to Detroit.
Although James continues to work with the first unit, he's essentially serving as a nominal starter for the Hornets while they wait for Kon Knueppel's (hamstring) season debut. The 11 points were a season-high figure for the second-year forward, who had previously been unable to score more than six points in any of his first seven appearances prior to Monday.
