Sexton finished with 24 points (8-16 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, eight assists, a steal and a block across 31 minutes in Saturday's 126-120 preseason loss to the Spurs.
The Jazz were depleted for this preseason contest since they were without Lauri Markkanen (rest) and Keyonte George (knee), but Sexton stepped up and finished as the leading scorer in this preseason loss. Sexton has locked down a starting role in the backcourt, and while he gets most of his fantasy upside as a scoring weapon, he could handle more playmaking duties if George is forced to miss time in the early stages of the regular season.
