Monroe signed a 10-day contract with the Jazz on Sunday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Monroe previously spent time with the Bucks, Timberwolves and Wizards this season, appearing in 10 total contests and averaging 5.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 15.1 minutes. Hassan Whiteside is currently dealing with a foot injury, so Monroe will likely compete with Juancho Hernangomez for backup minutes behind Rudy Gobert.
