The Jazz exercised the third-year option on George's rookie contract Monday.
This allows Utah to keep George under team control through the 2025-26 regular season. He entered the starting lineup late in the 2023-24 regular season due to injuries to Collin Sexton and Jordan Clarkson. Over his final 28 starts, George averaged 15.8 points, 4.8 assists and 2.8 rebounds across 31.4 minutes per game. George is expected to run with the first unit with Sexton while Clarkson serves in a sixth-man role.
