Jordan was waived by the Pelicans on Friday, John Reid of NOLA.com reports.
Jordan was signed to add some frontcourt depth with Alex Ajinca and Omer Asik both dealing with injuries as the start of the season looms. However, it looks as if the team is optimistic about both players' health with the waiving of Jordan and the center will be looking for work once again.
