O'Bryant was waived by the Bucks on Wednesday, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
O'Bryant saw his role slightly increase in his second NBA season, but still averaged just 3.0 points and 2.7 rebounds over 13.0 minutes per game. Even so, O'Bryant wasn't viewed as a rotation player heading into the upcoming season, so the Bucks elected to dump him from the 15-man roster before his contract for 2016-17 became guaranteed June 30. O'Bryant has a lot of work to do to make himself a more well-rounded player, so no matter where he lands, he'll likely struggle to find minutes or become a viable fantasy option.
