Martin announced the news in an advertisement in his hometown newspaper, officially ending his 12-year NBA odyssey. The 33-year-old only reached the postseason three times in his career, but was one of the more prolific scoring options at shooting guard during stops with the Kings, Rockets, Thunder, Timberwolves and Spurs. He'll finish his career with averages of 17.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 30.2 minutes per game over 714 career NBA appearances.
