Sabonis (undisclosed) will not play in Tuesday's preseason matchup against Portland, Matt George of ABC 10 Sacramento reports.
Sabonis joins several Sacramento regulars on the sidelines Tuesday, though no reason for his absence was provided. With both Sabonis and Maxime Raynaud (knee) unavailable, the Kings will need to rely on other frontcourt options against the Trail Blazers. Sabonis' next opportunity to suit up will come Friday against San Antonio.
