Alvarado (ankle) is out for Tuesday's game against the Pistons.
Alvarado will miss a second consecutive game with a sprained ankle. Tyler Kolek entered the New York rotation in Sunday's loss to the Magic and should continue to play a bench role while Alvarado is sidelined.
