Head coach JJ Redick said Monday that Thiero (knee) has participated in live action, and the hope is that he'll be available by the end of the week, Khobi Price of The California Post reports.
Thiero has yet to make his season debut while recovering from a left knee injury, though he's trending in the right direction. However, the second-year forward isn't expected to play a meaningful role once healthy.
