Carr (oblique) was assigned Wednesday to the G League's Coachella Valley Lakers, Thuc Nhi Nguyen of the Los Angeles Times reports
With the Lakers unlikely to hold much practice time over their current back-to-back set, this assignment gives Carr a chance to continue his recovery work with an oblique injury. The rookie guard was recalled Tuesday and could be brought back to the parent club at some point soon.
