Doncic (hamstring) will start for Team World and will be operating with a minutes restriction in its round-robin matchup with Team Stars in Sunday's NBA All-Star Game, Dan Woike of The Athletic reports.
Doncic missed the Lakers' final four games prior to the All-Star break due to a left hamstring strain, but after checking out well following a workout Thursday, he'll be able to make a cameo Sunday. However, the superstar guard is expected to play only in the first game of the round-robin tournament. Assuming he makes it through Sunday's exhibition without any setbacks, Doncic should be ready to play in the Lakers' next game Friday against the Clippers.
