Christie is starting in Friday's preseason game against the Timberwolves, Khobi Price of The Orange County Register reports.
Christie will start in the preseason opener with LeBron James (rest) being held out. Christie will start alongside Jaxson Hayes, D'Angelo Russell, Rui Hachimura and Austin Reaves.
