Carter (coach's decision) did not play in Wednesday's 132-125 loss to Atlanta.
Carter wasn't called upon in Orlando's season opener, suggesting he'll primarily serve as backcourt depth. The veteran guard will likely need an injury or rotation adjustment to receive consistent playing time.
