Davis (calf) is scheduled to practice Wednesday, according to NBA reporter Marc Stein.
Davis has been sidelined since Oct. 29, but the big man appears close to a return. "He's working to get back," coach Jason Kidd said Monday. Friday's game against the Lakers is the front end of a back-to-back set, so at best, Davis will likely be allowed to play in just one of these games if he responds well to Wednesday's practice.
