The Mavericks exercised the third-year team option on Flagg's contract for the 2027-28 season, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Flagg is coming off an impressive rookie campaign with Dallas, averaging 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.9 blocks across 33.5 minutes per game in 70 regular-season appearances. The second-year forward should operate as one of Dallas' top offensive options alongside Kyrie Irving in 2026-27.
