Hardy is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's preseason game against the Jazz, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.
The Mavericks are starting Klay Thompson and Kyrie Irving for this preseason contest, so Hardy should see minutes off the bench. However, both starters will be restricted, so Hardy should still see plenty of minutes throughout the contest.
