Schroder led Germany with 12 assists, acting as the team's top facilitator in the victory. The 30-year-old is playing in his first Olympic Games, coming just one year after he led Germany to victory in the FIBA Basketball World Cup for the first time. Schroder and Franz Wagner will look to lead Germany to Olympic success this year, but they still have to face France and Brazil in the group phase.
