Wilson won't start Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Hawks, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.
Wilson started in Brooklyn's preseason finale but will return to the bench for the start of the regular season. Still, he's slated to play a significant role with the reserves after appearing in 43 games as a rookie in 2023-24.
