Gordon is expected to play limited minutes in Friday's preseason opener against Boston, Katy Winge of Altitude Sports reports.
With coach Mike Malone able to try out 19 different players in the preseason, the Nuggets' starting unit of Gordon, Nikola Jokic, Michael Porter and Jamal Murray is expected to play extremely limited minutes. This will likely remain the case until the club gets closer to Opening Night.
