Yurtseven agreed to a deal with Panathinaikos on Monday, Eurohoops reports.
The deal isn't finalized yet, but the 6-foot-11 big man is expected to return to Europe to finish his career. After spending three years with Fenerbache to start his basketball career, Yurtseven went to the United States for college in 2016. He spent four years at NC State before transferring to Georgetown. He wasn't selected in the 2020 NBA Draft but received a G League opportunity and worked his way into the Heat's rotation in 2021, averaging 5.3 points and 5.3 rebounds in 12.6 minutes across 56 appearances (12 starts). After making only nine appearances for Miami in 2022, Yurtseven joined the Jazz in 2023 and played 48 games (12 starts), averaging 4.6 points and 4.3 rebounds in 11.4 minutes.
