Brown will not play Thursday against the Suns due to return-to-competition reconditioning.
Brown is essentially being held out for rest purposes in the front end of a back-to-back set, but he should be back in action for Friday's rematch with Phoenix. While Brown is out Thursday, the Pelicans could lean more heavily on Jordan Hawkins and Antonio Reeves on the second unit.
