Jones chipped in seven points (3-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and one steal across 16 minutes in Wednesday's 101-97 preseason win over Dallas.
Though the expectation this offseason has been that Jones would start for the Pelicans, his role doesn't appear to be set in stone quite yet. Bennedict Mathurin remains a candidate for a spot in the first unit to begin the new season.
