Thompson (ankle) did not participate in Sunday morning's shootaround, Coty M. Davis of The Detroit News reports.
Thompson sustained a right ankle sprain in Friday's win over Miami and is trending in the wrong direction for Sunday's contest. If the 23-year-old swingman is ultimately ruled out, Javonte Green and Isaiah Joe would likely see increased playing time.
