Stewart is expected to move from power forward to center this season, Evan Sidery of Forbes.com reports.
Stewart is projected to come off the bench behind Jalen Duren while competing for playing time with Paul Reed. Stewart normally runs at the four-spot, but with Tobias Harris and Simone Fontecchio expected to play major roles with the club, Stewart will slide over to the center position. The 23-year-old played a large role in Detroit last season, during which he averaged 10.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.8 blocks across a career-high 30.9 minutes per game in 46 regular-season outings.
