Poeltl (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Atlanta, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports
Poeltl was upgraded to doubtful prior to being downgraded to out Sunday, a sign that he could be closing in on a return to action for the first time since Jan. 7. If Poeltl is able to practice Monday, he'll have a good chance at being cleared to play Tuesday against Chicago.
