Bassey (knee) has been ruled out of Monday's preseason opener against the Thunder, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Bassey has been limited during training camp while recovering from a left knee surgery. The 23-year-old will likely return to game action by Opening Night, but it is unclear if the Spurs will have him take the floor before then. Bassey's next chance to make an appearance will come Wednesday versus the Magic.
