Paul recorded five points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists and two steals across 23 minutes in Wednesday's 107-97 preseason win over the Magic.
Paul co-led the Spurs in minutes alongside Victor Wembanyama and Blake Wesley, and while the veteran floor general didn't deliver an eye-popping stat line, he showed some rapport with Wembanyama, something that will be crucial for the Spurs' chances of improving their record from last season. Paul is simply getting enough reps to be ready for the regular-season opener against the Mavericks on Oct. 24, as he's already penciled in as the Spurs' starting floor general.
