Paul (rest) has been ruled out for Monday's preseason opener against the Thunder, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
The 19-year NBA veteran will join Devin Vassell (foot) and Victor Wembanyama (rest) on the bench Monday, allowing the Spurs to take an extended look at Stephon Castle and and Tre Jones. Paul's next chance to play during the preseason will come Wednesday against the Magic.
