Martin poured in 17 points (5-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT) and added six rebounds and a steal over 26 minutes in Friday's 102-98 loss to the Nuggets.
The 12-year veteran put together his best effort since being acquired in a trade with the Timberwolves at the end of February. Always a potentially dangerous marksman, Martin connected on a pair of threes while also doing some solid work on the glass. While the minutes boost was encouraging, Martin may see his playing time reduced if coach Gregg Popovich returns to his regular rotation for the Spurs next contest versus the Warriors on Sunday.
