Birch (knee) will not play Sunday against the Rockets, independent NBA writer Matthew Tynan reports.
Birch has yet to suit up for the Spurs since landing in San Antonio, so his absence from the active roster won't have any impact on fantasy hoops. His next opportunity to play will come Friday against the Nuggets.
