Branham is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Mavericks, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Branham was competing for the fifth spot in the starting unit, but in the end, he'll come off the bench in this season opener. Julian Champagnie got the starting nod alongside Chris Paul, Harrison Barnes, Jeremy Sochan and Victor Wembanyama.
