The Hawks are trading Liddell to the Suns in exchange for David Roddy on Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
This is the second time Liddell has gotten traded in less than a month, as he was traded from New Orleans to Atlanta on June 26 as part of the deal that sent Dejounte Murray to the Pelicans. Liddell will compete for a depth frontcourt option for the Suns, but his chances of earning a meaningful role are very slim.
