Kennard finished with eight points (3-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, four assists and one steal in 13 minutes during Wednesday's 124-117 preseason loss to Chicago.
Kennard contributed as a secondary playmaker despite attempting just one three-pointer. The veteran sharpshooter figures to provide Phoenix with perimeter spacing and offensive versatility off the bench, though his fantasy value will depend largely on his playing time and three-point production.
