Ferguson signed a G League contract with the Rio Grande Vipers on Tuesday, NBA writer Marc Stein reports.
Ferguson was waived by the Knicks in March and ended up heading to Greece to continue his career. However, with COVID-19 decimating rosters around the league, he has a shot at returning to the NBA. The 2017 first-round pick by the Thunder averaged 4.5 points and 1.3 rebounds in 19.6 minutes per game over 204 appearances (124 starts) across the past four seasons.
