McDaniels (rest) will start against the Knicks in Monday's preseason game.
McDaniels skipped Saturday's exhibition against the Heat for maintenance purposes, but he'll be back in action Monday evening. It'll be interesting to see if McDaniels can take a leap as a scorer this season with Julius Randle no longer around.
