Layman notched 10 points (3-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and one steal over 17 minutes during Sunday's 124-120 loss to the Bulls.
Layman hasn't been a significant part of the rotation since the start of the calendar year, but the Timberwolves opted to lean more on their bench players in Sunday's regular-season finale. He should revert to his normal role during Tuesday's play-in game against the Clippers.
