Shannon (hip) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Bucks, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports.
Shannon will miss his first game of the season due to a left hip contusion, and his next chance to play will come Wednesday against Houston. With the 26-year-old swingman joining Anthony Edwards (knee) on the inactive list, more minutes will be available for guys like Ayo Dosunmu, Isaiah Evans and Jaylen Clark.
