Henderson scored 23 points (10-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT) while adding five rebounds, six assists and two steals across 32 minutes in Wednesday's 111-100 preseason win over Ratiopharm Ulm.
Henderson is locked in at the starting point guard role for the start of the 2024-25 season, though injuries to Anfernee Simons (ankle) and Shaedon Sharpe (shoulder) have played a role in that. Regardless, Henderson has looked sharp in preseason and could be poised to have a breakout season or at least improve upon the numbers he delivered as a rookie in 2023-24, when he averaged 14.0 points, 5.4 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game while shooting a meager 38.5 percent from the field across 62 regular-season contests.
