The 76ers didn't re-sign Johnson (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) after his 10-day contract expired Saturday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
Johnson's entry into the protocols Thursday made it an easy decision for the 76ers to forgo re-signing him, given that he wasn't expected to be available for several games. Once he clears the protocols, Johnson's ample experience at the NBA level could allow him to find work with another team whose backcourt depth is tested by injuries or COVID-19-related absences.
