Champagnie signed a two-way contract with Washington on Sunday, Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports.

With Champagnie's 10-day contract expiring Sunday, Washington will opt to give him some more permanent security on the roster by handing him a two-way deal after he tallied 11 points, one rebound and one assist across 16 minutes in three appearances. The 6-foot-6 wing joins a relatively crowded rotation of swingmen off the bench that includes Jordan Poole, Landry Shamet, Corey Kispert and Johnny Davis.
