Reed notched one block in two minutes during Saturday's 112-86 win over the Hornets. Reed was in the rotation for the fourth time in the past five games, albeit during garbage time only. With Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart carrying the center load, Reed is merely a depth option at this point, called upon when others are injured. In 21 appearances, he has averaged just 6.1 points and 4.1 rebounds in 10.9 minutes per game.

Reed logged six points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 10 rebounds and three assists in 15 minutes during Saturday's 124-112 victory over Milwaukee. Reed had double-digit rebounds for just the third time this season, playing a handful of extra minutes as a result of an ankle injury to Tobias Harris. With Isaiah Stewart moving into the starting lineup alongside Jalen Duren, Reed was called upon to play the majority of the backup center minutes. Given he had been out of the rotation in two of the previous three games, there is no reason to overreact to this performance.

Reed won't start Monday's game against the Pacers. With Jalen Duren (ankle) returning from a two-game absence, Reed will slide to the second unit. Over his last five appearances off the bench, the 26-year-old center has averaged 4.0 points and 4.2 rebounds in 10.2 minutes per contest.

Reed generated 28 points (11-13 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 13 rebounds, six assists, four steals and one block across 31 minutes of Wednesday's 124-113 win over the Bulls. Reed hadn't exceeded 19 minutes in a game before Wednesday night. However, the absences of Jalen Duren (ankle) and Isaiah Stewart (ankle) opened up the opportunity for Reed to draw the start, and he capitalized. The 26-year-old center paced the Pistons in points and rebounds while tallying the second most assists on the team. While it's uncertain if Duren and Stewart will continue to miss time, fantasy managers should keep a keen eye on the Pistons' frontcourt situation, as Reed boasts significant streaming value when given 20 or more minutes.
