Stewart closed with 14 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals over 31 minutes during Thursday's 116-114 overtime loss to Dallas. With Tobias Harris posting a scoreless dud in 18 minutes of action, Stewart closed this game out for Detroit and saw extended run alongside Jalen Duren. That may be a trend that continues, and it's worth mentioning that Harris' expiring contract could potentially be moved ahead of the trade deadline.

Stewart is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Hawks. Tobias Harris is returning from a one-game absence due to an ankle injury, which is sending Stewart to the second unit. The 2020 first-rounder has averaged 8.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 21.2 minutes per contest across 14 games off the bench this season.

Stewart finished Saturday's 124-112 victory over Milwaukee with 19 points (6-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds and one block across 26 minutes. Stewart moved into the starting lineup, replacing Tobias Harris, who was ruled out due to an ankle injury. While the 19 points were nice, Stewart's lack of peripherals was a little disappointing. On the whole, it's been a decent season thus far for Stewart, who is averaging 10.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 22.5 minutes per game. If and when the roster is healthy, he should be viewed as a blocks specialist in standard formats.

Stewart will start against the Bucks on Saturday. With Tobias Harris (ankle) sitting out the second half of this back-to-back set, Stewart will rejoin the starting five. In six starts so far this season, the big man has averaged 12.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.2 blocks and 1.7 assists across 24.8 minutes per contest.

Stewart was ejected from Wednesday's game against the Bucks with two technical fouls, Coty M. Davis of The Detroit News reports. Shortly after receiving his first technical, Stewart got into a heated argument with Bobby Portis, which ended his night early. Across 18 minutes, Stewart logged five points (2-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt), four rebounds, one steal and two blocks.
