Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Ties season-high in scoring
DeMar DeRozan accumulated 33 points (10-16 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 10-10 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two steals over 35 minutes during Thursday's 134-133 overtime loss to Portland. It was a vintage DeRozan night, as the veteran finished with 33 points on only 16 shots. He also made all 10 of his free throws. His scoring total matched a season high from November, when he also scored 33 against Minnesota. Now in year 17, DeRozan's scoring average (18.2) is below 20 points per game for the first time since the 2012-13 season. Still, DeRozan is good for an occasional scoring burst and decent overall fantasy production.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Goes for 17 points in loss
DeMar DeRozan chipped in 17 points (8-15 FG, 1-1 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 39 minutes during Sunday's 117-103 loss to the Timberwolves.DeRozan has failed to reach the 20-point mark in six of his last eight appearances, and the veteran forward has struggled to get into a groove offensively all season long. He's averaging 15.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game over that eight-game stretch, and while he retains fantasy upside due to his role in Sacramento's scheme, his numbers are clearly down compared to recent years. He's posting the third-worst scoring average of his career at 17.7 points per game.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Minimal impact in loss Thursday
DeMar DeRozan closed Thursday's 137-96 loss to Memphis with seven points (2-3 FG, 3-3 FT), two assists and one steal in 15 minutes.DeRozan had his worst output of the season by a wide margin. The seven-point effort was the third time he failed to reach the 10-point mark in three of his last five outings. DeRozan is a veteran who should be able to bounce back sooner rather than later, but as of late, he shouldn't be trusted by fantasy managers. He's attempted 12 or fewer shots in four of his last five appearances.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Salvages night at free-throw line
DeMar DeRozan ended with 17 points (4-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 9-10 FT), three rebounds, five assists and three steals in 35 minutes during Wednesday's 113-99 loss to the Thunder. The 17 points led all Sacramento starters as the visitors had a tough time overall against the OKC defense. DeRozan's three steals were a season high, and his 1.3 steals through 15 games would be a career-best average if he can keep it up. The rest of the 36-year-old's game is showing signs of decline, however, as DeRozan is averaging 18.7 points, 3.6 assists, 3.3 boards and 0,9 threes in 34.0 minutes a contest.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Hits for team-high 27 in loss
DeMar DeRozan finished with 27 points (12-15 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, four assists and two steals across 39 minutes during Sunday's 123-110 loss to the Spurs. The 27 points led the Sacramento Kings, as DeRozan snapped out of a brief scoring slump that had seen him manage only 10 points total over the prior two games on 4-for-16 shooting. The 36-year-old may be showing his age. Through 14 contests, DeRozan is averaging just 18.9 points -- which would be his lowest mark in a season since 2012-13 -- along with 3.5 assists, 3.3 boards, 1.1 steals and 0.9 threes.
