Pacers' James Wiseman: Inks 10-day deal with IND
James Wiseman signed a 10-day contract with the Indiana Pacers on Saturday.Wiseman was waived by the Pacers in late October, but he'll rejoin the team on a 10-day deal. Per Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star, head coach Rick Carlisle said Wiseman's signing was a result of Tony Bradley's (finger) injury. However, Carlisle acknowledged that Wiseman isn't currently in NBA game shape, which doesn't bode well for the 24-year-old center.

The Pacers waived James Wiseman on Monday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.After tearing his Achilles tendon in Indiana's 2024-25 regular-season opener, Wiseman was traded to the Raptors in February before being waived. The big man re-signed with the Pacers in July to help bolster their frontcourt depth after losing Myles Turner in free agency. However, Wiseman couldn't capitalize on the opportunity and will now have to explore other opportunities. In a corresponding move, the Pacers signed Mac McClung to bolster their banged-up backcourt.
