  • Hornets' Ryan Kalkbrenner: Questionable against Washington

Kalkbrenner is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Wizards with a sprained left elbow.

The rookie big man could be out for consecutive outings with the injury. Mason Plumlee (groin) has already been ruled out, which could force the Hornets to rely heavily upon Moussa Diabate at center.

  • Timberwolves' Rocco Zikarsky: Recalled to NBA

Minnesota recalled Zikarsky from the G League's Iowa Wolves on Tuesday.

Zikarsky is rejoining the Timberwolves after posting 11 points (2-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 11 rebounds, an assist and two blocks across 19 minutes in Monday's 132-104 G League win over the Westchester Knicks. Zikarsky has yet to appear in an NBA game this season and will likely not play Tuesday, but he will continue to split time between the two clubs throughout the season.

  • Timberwolves' Joan Beringer: Recalled to NBA

Minnesota recalled Beringer from the G League's Iowa Wolves on Tuesday.

After he put up 12 points (5-12 FG, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, an assist and four blocks across 27 minutes in Monday's 132-104 G League win over the Westchester Knicks, Beringer will provide depth for the NBA team. • Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Goes through shootaround

Wembanyama (calf) participated in Tuesday's morning shootaround, NBA reporter Matthew Tynan reports.

Wembanyama is listed as questionable on the official injury report, but his participation in the morning bodes well for his availability against the Thunder on Tuesday night. If he's unable to get the green light, guys like Kelly Olynyk and Luke Kornet could step into larger roles.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Jazz's Jusuf Nurkic: Strong line in loss

Nurkic notched 17 points (6-10 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 14 rebounds and six assists across 35 minutes during Monday's 135-112 loss to the Nuggets.

Nurkic put up a very strong performance against his former teammate in Nikola Jokic. Apart from some woeful free-throw shooting this season (49.3 percent), Nurkic has put together some decent stats with averages of 8.8 points, 9.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.4 three-pointers in 24.8 minutes per contest.

Queta finished Monday's 103-95 win over Indiana with eight points (3-5 FG, 2-4 FT), eight rebounds and two assists over 23 minutes.

Queta just missed a double-double in Monday's win, but he continues to hold off a surging Luka Garza as the starting center. Over his last five games, Queta has provided low-end fantasy numbers with 9.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.4 blocks in 26.1 minutes per contest.

  • N'Faly Dante C | ATL

Hawks' N'Faly Dante: Recalled to NBA

Atlanta recalled Dante (knee) from the G League's College Park Skyhawks on Monday.

Dante sustained a knee injuryin his last G League appearance, and while he is being recalled to the Hawks, he likely won't appear in a game for them due to his injury. Dante will continue to split time between the two clubs for the remainder of the season.

  • Trail Blazers' Donovan Clingan: Records double-double in loss

Clingan finished Monday's 110-102 loss to Detroit with 17 points (6-8 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-6 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and three blocks over 34 minutes.

Clingan kept pace with Jalen Duren for most of the contest, but he was unable to contain the Detroit big man in the closing minutes. He was a key part of the fourth-quarter rally that erased a 21-point deficit, but he withered with the rest of the unit on the defensive end while the Pistons completed an 11-2 run at the end of the game.
