Pelicans' Yves Missi: Grabs 12 rebounds in loss

Missi contributed six points (3-8 FG), 12 rebounds, four assists and three blocks across 27 minutes during Wednesday's 114-98 loss to the Clippers.

Missi was able to keep up with Ivica Zubac despite the lopsided loss, and he registered numbers in every major statistical category. Along with his proficiency off the glass, he registered three blocked shots and tied a season high with four assists. The rookie has carved out a nice role for himself during his first season and should be considered a front-runner for a starting role in the 2025-26 campaign.

Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Records double-double in victory

Zubac racked up 17 points (6-8 FG, 5-6 FT), 10 rebounds and six assists over 33 minutes during Wednesday's 114-98 win over the Pelicans.

Zubac's double-double streak extended to nine games, and it's a milestone he's missed only twice since the All-Star break. The standout center has an excellent attendance record this season, which is surprising given his considerable boost in minutes. Zubac is on pace to shatter his previous seasonal highs, averaging a career-best 16.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists over 74 games.

  • Nuggets' DeAndre Jordan: Dominates glass in spot start

Jordan closed with 10 points (2-4 FG, 6-12 FT), 17 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 113-106 loss to San Antonio.

The veteran big man collected a game-high 17 boards in Nikola Jokic's (ankle) stead on Wednesday, matching a season high in rebounds to go with his third double-double of the campaign. Jordan doesn't always see the court when Jokic is available, but the former has filled in serviceably when the latter has been out of action. Through five starts in 2024-25, Jordan has averaged 8.6 points, 13.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.8 blocks in 30.4 minutes while shooting 69.6 percent from the floor.

  • Mavericks' Anthony Davis: Dominates in win Wednesday

Davis ended with 34 points (14-23 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 15 rebounds, two assists, five blocks and one steal across 30 minutes during Wednesday's 120-118 victory over the Hawks.

Davis had his best all-around performance since arriving in Dallas, helping the Mavs to a much-needed victory. Although his return to the court was met with some questions, as this was the first time in five games he's even reached the 20-point mark, he has certainly provided the team with a strong presence on both ends of the floor. Unsurprisingly, his efficiency has been somewhat of an issue, something that he managed to rectify in this one. Both Dereck Lively and Daniel Gafford have also recently returned from their respective injuries, with Dallas now possessing a formidable frontcourt.

  • Mavericks' Dereck Lively: Limited in return

Lively (ankle) supplied four points (1-1 FG, 2-4 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block in 16 minutes during Wednesday's 120-118 victory over the Hawks.

Lively returned to the court after having missed the Mavericks' last 36 games due to a right ankle stress fracture. He slid straight into the starting lineup, playing alongside Anthony Davis for the first time since Davis was acquired from the Lakers in February. While Lively's numbers left much to be desired, he could eventually settle into a 25-to-30-minute role once he's further removed from the injury and free of restrictions.

  • Hawks' Onyeka Okongwu: Another double-double

Okongwu had 20 points (7-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 14 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals across 40 minutes during Wednesday's 120-118 loss to the Mavericks.

Okongwu delivered his third double-double in the past five games, continuing to thrive as the starting center in Atlanta. Since finally supplanting Clint Capela, Okongwu has been able to realize some of the potential people had been waiting to see. In 16 games over the past month, he has put up delicious averages of 15.3 points, 10.9 rebounds, 1.3 steals, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 three-pointers in 32.3 minutes per game.

  • Mavericks' Anthony Davis: Cleared to return

Davis sustained a laceration near his right eye but has checked back in to Wednesday's game against the Hawks, Christian Clark of The Athletic reports.

Davis was hit in the head and went back to the locker room briefly before returning with a bandage over the laceration. He's returned to Wednesday's game and shouldn't face any limitations the rest of the way.

  • Mavericks' Anthony Davis: Heads to locker room

Davis was hit in the head during Wednesday's game against the Hawks and went back to the locker room, Noah Weber of TheSmokingCuban.com reports.

Davis seemed to stumble a little while walking off the floor after taking a significant hit to the head. While Davis is sidelined, look for Daniel Gafford, Caleb Marin and Dwight Powell to see more minutes.

  • Thunder's Isaiah Hartenstein: Bench role vs. Detroit

Hartenstein will come off the bench during Wednesday's game against the Pistons, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.

Hartenstein will be in the second unit for the Thunder on Wednesday against Detroit. The veteran big man has come off the bench three times for Oklahoma City this season, averaging 12.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.7 blocks per game while shooting 59.3 percent from the field.

  • Nuggets' DeAndre Jordan: Starting sans Jokic

Jordan is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Spurs, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.

Jordan is one of several players who will have the chance to handle an expanded role Wednesday, as head coach Michael Malone decided to rest all the usual starters. Jordan has made four starts this season, averaging 8.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and a combined 2.1 steals-plus-blocks per game in those four contests.
