Steven Adams C | HOU
Rockets' Steven Adams: Won't play Wednesday
Adams (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Clippers, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Adams has played two consecutive games on just one occasion this season, and the Rockets seem to be taking a deliberate approach with him as he works his way back from right knee surgery, which sidelined him throughout the 2023-24 campaign. Jock Landale should serve as the Rockets' backup center Wednesday, but assuming he's cleared to play in Friday's rematch with the Clippers, Adams should settle back in as Alperen Sengun's top understudy.

Walker Kessler C | UTA
Jazz's Walker Kessler: Won't play Thursday
Kessler (hip) is out for Thursday's game against the Mavericks, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Kessler is set for a second straight absence Thursday, and it seems the big man doesn't have a clear timetable for his return. This means John Collins and Drew Eubanks will absorb the minutes at center, with Collins likely starting in Kessler's place again. Kessler's next chance to play will come against the Kings on Saturday.

Jarrett Allen C | CLE
Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Officially suiting up
Allen (leg) is active Wednesday versus Philadelphia, Serena Winters of FanDuel Sports Network Ohio reports.
Allen and Evan Mobley (illness) have both been cleared for action as Cleveland looks to remain undefeated. Allen is averaging just 6.5 points and 4.0 rebounds in 23.5 minutes during his last two games, but the degree to which his injury is affecting his play is unclear.

Neemias Queta C | BOS
Celtics' Neemias Queta: Starting sans Horford
Queta will start Wednesday's game against the Nets.
Queta will benefit from Al Horford resting Wednesday, entering the starting lineup for the third time this season. Queta has averaged 12.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game as a starter this season

Jarrett Allen C | CLE
Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Plans to play Wednesday
Allen (leg) is planning to play in Wednesday's game against the 76ers, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Allen participated in Wednesday's morning shootaround, and the fact that he's planning to suit suggests he's more probable than questionable at this point. A final decision should be made closer to the 7:30 ET p.m. tipoff, but all signs point to the big man suiting up for the Cavs on Wednesday.

Andre Drummond C | PHI
76ers' Andre Drummond: Not playing Wednesday
Drummond (illness) will not play Wednesday versus Cleveland, Derek Bodner of AllPHLY.com reports.
A late addition to the 76ers' injury report, Drummond had initially been listed as questionable for Wednesday's contest before Philadelphia ruled him out just under two hours before tipoff. With Joel Embiid (knee) also sidelined for the second half of a back-to-back set, Guerschon Yabusele and Adem Bona will likely cover all the minutes at center for the 76ers.

Andre Drummond C | PHI
76ers' Andre Drummond: Battling illness
Drummond is questionable for Wednesday's game against Cleveland due to an illness.
Drummond entered Wednesday with a clean bill of health, however, his status to face one of his former teams is now in jeopardy. Drummond has had inconsistent usage en route to averaging 9.8 points and 8.2 rebounds in 22.5 minutes across his last five contests, but his presence would likely be missed against Cleveland's frontcourt, especially with Joel Embiid (knee/rest) sitting out the second half of a back-to-back set.
-
Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA
Suns' Jusuf Nurkic: Good to go Wednesday
Nurkic (ankle) was removed from the injury report ahead of Wednesday's game versus Sacramento.
Nurkic was sidelined for Tuesday's win over the Jazz due to left ankle soreness after aggravating the injury in Sunday's loss to the Kings. His absence from the front end of the back-to-back set Tuesday may have been for maintenance purposes more than anything else, but Nurkic could still have his playing time monitored closely as he returns to action Wednesday.
-
Robert Williams III C | POR
Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Resting Wednesday
Williams has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves due to rest.
Williams has missed considerable time due to injuries over the previous two seasons, so Portland's decision to hold him out for the second leg of a back-to-back set comes as little surprise. The 27-year-old logged a season-high 25 minutes Tuesday and should be fresh for the Trail Blazers' next game Sunday versus Atlanta.

Deandre Ayton C | LAL
Trail Blazers' Deandre Ayton: Out Wednesday
Ayton (finger) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Minnesota.
A right finger sprain will cost Ayton his second consecutive contest, but he will now have some extra time to heal up before Sunday's game against Atlanta. Robert Williams (rest) is also out, so Donovan Clingan and Duop Reath are likely to share the minutes at center for Portland on Wednesday.
